- I am a happily married father of two, and an educator, primarily in K-12 mathematics. My professional and educational background include the fields of architecture, banking and finance, public and private education. My interests include research and practice centered around the improvement of teacher and student learning of elementary mathematical ideas. By elementary mathematics, I am referencing all topics from pre-arithmetic (the subitizing numbers) to the beginnings of integral and differential calculus. I am currently working on my doctorate, where I hope to determine a useful causal inference with regard to multiplication and multiplicative thinking.
